Born in Great Falls, Montana on the airbase where his father proudly served, and raised in Buffalo, New York since the age of two, Paul, the legendary drummer for the iconic death metal titan that is CANNIBAL CORPSE, picked up a hockey stick at the early age of five before a pair of drumsticks at the age of 16. Drumming now for 42 years without missing a blast beat, Paul's drumming roots were influenced by the likes of metal giants such as BLACK SABBATH, KISS, IRON MAIDEN, METALLICA and SLAYER. Known for his signature "bomb blast" beat technique, he himself has innovated, inspired, and influenced the hordes of modern metal drummers out there today. As a founding member of CANNIBAL CORPSE, and with 16 albums under their belt, Paul has toured the world playing in front of millions of fans for almost four decades, undoubtedly an iconic career in his own right. There are no signs of his blast beats slowing down either, upon listening to his playing on CANNIBAL's last release "Chaos Horrific", where you can hear his playing becoming even more dynamic. In recent years, Paul has also started side projects with fellow friends from other bands; UMBILICUS, a 1970s rock-inspired project, and HEAVEN'S GATE, a hardcore-thrash project. Still getting out on the ice whenever he can, he is a lifelong Buffalo Sabres fan of course, and a Buffalo Bills diehard. Paul is also a vegetarian for going on 23 years now, and is a huge animal lover, a passion he shares with his girlfriend. When he's not hammer-smashing his snare in the studio and out on the road, Paul enjoys time off spent enjoying life with his girlfriend and daughter; and, of course, whenever he gets a chance, you might catch him clacking sticks on the ice.
Vince has been creating published illustrative art for over 30 years. His portfolio includes countless comic books and graphic novels (including "Deadworld", "Sandman", "A History Of Violence", "The Dollhouse Family", "American Freak", "Sandman Mystery Theatre", "House By The Cemetery", "The Essentials" and "The Unwritten"),all album and merchandising art for world famous death metal band CANNIBAL CORPSE, numerous role-playing game book illustrations ("White Wolf", "TSR" and "Wizards Of The Coast"),book and magazine illustrations ("2000 A.D.", Barnes & Noble, author Caitlin Kiernan),and artwork for the animated show "Aqua Teen Hunger Force". He is also well-known for his horror themed fine art and has had paintings in many gallery exhibitions. He received the Haxtur Award for "Best Long Comic Strip" in 2005 for "A History Of Violence" and was a guest speaker at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival. His most recent work is the completion of "Swamp Thing" #88 with Rick Veitch and Michael Zulli. "Swamp Thing" #88 was famously canceled in 1989 before the issue was completed, fearing a backlash over a storyline involving Jesus Christ.
